THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL AGE GROUPS.

1. SPONSOR: Internet Content, Inc., 2112 Calville #103, Las Vegas, Nevada 89128, owner of SillyBooks.net (http://www.sillybooks.net).

2. RESPONSIBILITY: All legal responsibilities of an author under this program will be assumed by the parents or legal guardian of all authors under the age of 18.

3. SUBMISSIONS: Manuscript submissions must be sent by email only. No other submissions will be accepted. Email submissions to RogerCarr@SillyBooks.net. Stories should be submitted by email in one of these manners: word processor attachments or .txt attachments or written or pasted into the body of an email. All correspondence will be by email, so a valid email is essential for entering the contest and receiving notices regarding the program.

4. LIMITATIONS: Submissions must be the original work of the author and must not infringe upon third party rights. Books may be written by individual authors or in collaboration with friends or classmates.

5. PROCEDURES: Program begins June 1, 2007 and ends at the sole discretion of SillyBooks.net. Monthly submissions will be judged by a panel of editors employed by SillyBooks.net. All manuscript submissions that are accepted by SillyBooks will be published in text editions and displayed on SillyBooks.net. Stories that our editors find outstanding will include spot illustrations. Stories that our editors deem exemplary will be published as a read-aloud audio book accompanied by text. Stories that our editors find truly superior will be published as Flash-animated read-aloud stories with narrative, music and sound effects. All costs of production will be paid by SillyBooks.net.

6. OWNERSHIP RIGHTS: Authors retain all copyrights to the manuscripts they submit to SillyBooks.net under this program. However, by submitting manuscripts to SillyBooks.net, authors grant to SillyBooks.net a non-exclusive Internet publishing license, under which SillyBooks.net may display the published manuscript on its own Website http://www.sillybooks.net or on any other Websites affiliated with SillyBooks.net, or any Websites that sub-license content from SillyBooks.net, for a term of five years following publication of the manuscript. SillyBooks.net agrees to provide promotional consideration for the non-exclusive publishing rights. Promotional consideration consists of displaying the published book on the SillyBooks.net Website and making the Website available free of charge to a worldwide audience. SillyBooks.net will include the authors name in the published book and will provide the author's contact information to bona-fide book publishers that contact SillyBooks.net and express an interest in publishing the author's manuscript in any medium. However, SillyBook.net will not actively seek out other publishers for authors' works and will not represent authors in soliciting or negotiating publishing contracts with other publishing companies, nor will SillyBooks.net be paid a commission for any money earned by any author as a result of a book publishing contract that may result from this book publishing program.
